I love your beading tray FULL of goodies to work with! And the Valentine dolls will be ready on time!Heck, you've even got a shamrock baby in the works for March!Lucky friends; hope the gathering is fun for you all!
Thank you all for your sweet comments -- and Dot, one more thanks to you for the gift of these wonderful little dolls -- they bring so much joy -- do you think we should flood all our government officials with little Dotee dolls? Maybe if they could see how much peace and joy a little doll can bring they could figure out how to make the world a bit more friendly. Just a thought ------
Darn I just moved --from-- Illinois--- to NC..---Now --I find all the beaders that were around me boohoo LOve all your creations Jackie..I just joined the Yahoo group so that is how I found this wonderful blog HOpe I can keep up with you all..
Hi, Jackie, just happened upon your blog this morning and I am in love with your Dottie dolls-they are just the kind of thing I like to make in the evenings-do you have a pattern or did you just start in and make one up-if there is a pattern I would love to have it. I have several friends and relatives that I make "Thinking of you" gifts for and I'm running out of ideas!!!! I will keep you blog on my favorites list and hope to hear from you about a pattern. Hi Linda, Thanks for your comments, Dotee is the baby of Dot Christian from Australia -- she has a tutorial for making the doll on her website. Here is the link: DOTEE TUTORIAL While you are there, check out her complete blog. She is just a charming lady and I know you will enjoy reading the blog. Have fun with the Dotee's.
jandee -- isn't that always how it goes? There are a lot of beaders in my area -- but all seem only interested in making jewelry -- and nothing else -- I love jewelry too but would be lost without all these wonderful 'side trips'.

Hi Jackie,
what fun to have a group of friends like that. I'm sure they will enjoy their dotee's. I like the way you stitch the faces.
Hugs,
Noel
