Paisley

I did a bit more on this piece -- so far it is a silver and gold piece -- now what to do with the center?

These little pins are sooooo addicting.
Here's a beginning of a new paisley shaped one.

It is fun to actually be able to finish a piece in a day or two, isn't it! I love to see you going great guns, like this!

This pin will be very pretty once it is finished, I am sure. Are you doing it on Lacy Stiff Stuff? Thank you for your help concerning butterfly squares on LSS. I posted a reply to you and Robin in Robin's relevant blog-post comments two days ago.

I think yours is a blog I will be visiting in future, because I like it.

My best regards to you,
Sabine

BB- yes, I love being able to finish in a couple days max. The older I get the more I want to do -- so things like these little beaded pins are such a joy -- and I have to thank you for my interest in them to begin with. I fell in love with your wonderful pins and just had to try them -- now that's all I want to do. Thanks, BB. And thanks also to Robin Atkins whose books got me started.

Sabine -- Thank you for visiting my blog. I am having so much funn with beads, pins, beaded dolls, etc. I should have to pay someone for all the enjoyment I am receiving. Guess by passing on my enthusiasm will have to do for payment ;-)

For the Sunshine I used Lacy's Stiff Stuff -- for the paisley I am using the Pellon peltex 70 ultra firm stabilizer. I like them both about the same, but the Pellon has little fibres that my winter ruff fingers catch on -- one good thing is that the Pellon is a fraction of the cost of Lacy's. I just got a yard of Pellon on sale at JoAnn Fabrics for $2.99 a yard. I'll be looking forward to seeing you again.

I like this little paisley! That's cute! If it were purple it would remind me of Prince. =:D
