Idle Time Doll

Sitting with DH watching the Cubs beat St. Louis and put together this little doll.  She has lavender inside but also batting -- I love lavender and use it when I can.

Hey from Middle Tennessee! My name is Allen and I'm a needlepoint artist out looking for other artists. Ran across your blog and fell in love with you little dolls!! Would you be interested in exchanging a few? I would like to make a scissor fob to exchange. Do you like bees?

I'm on disability right now for severe head aches and keep busy by doing needle work. Takes my mind off the pain and pressure.

HI Jackie!

I love the colors in your doll.
I love lavender too it reminds me
of my childhood when things and life
were not so hectic.
Keeping you both in my thoughts and
prayers.

Thanks, LB -- had a scrap of the Kaffee Fasset fabric and her shape is what I could get from the scrap.

Allen, glad you like my little dolls -- I love doing them. Thanks for the offer of trades, but right now I just don't have any spare time to make one for trade. My DH is heading back to the hospital tomorrow and I don't know when I'll have time, but I do appreciate your kind words.

Toni, you are always so thoughtful and complimentary. I appreciate it very much. I hope by our next meeting in August (?) life will have settled down a bit and I will be able to be there. I miss you all.
