Friends Forever

Will be meeting with a dear friend tomorrow and wanted to make a little something to give to her. I only get to see her once or twice a year and I want her to have something to help keep me close in her thoughts while we are apart.

The sweet "Inner Child" dolls came to mind. This little one is, like Pat Winter's original inner child dolls, stuffed with lavender and smells wonderful. I did add a pin back to her as she is quite small and can easily be worn as a pin if my friend would like to.

Just thought I'd share her with you.

Thank you all -- seems summer time means projects that don't take too long -- and these and the idle time dolls fit the bill. Glad you are enjoying them.

Allen Joe, the faces are photos that are printed on iron on fabric sheets -- the faces are then trimmed around and ironed on to the fabric for the doll. For these dolls I used Quick Fuse Iron-On Inkjet Fabric Sheets available at places like JoAnn Fabric and many quilt shops, etc. Have fun.
