Bottle Cap Pincushions ~ F.A.T. Swap

I made these 3 little bottle cap pincushions last night for another F.A.T. exchange. These exchanges are so much fun -- they are quick, inexpensive, easy to mail -- and a delightful break from the 'larger' projects.

wonderful work! how do you mail them? so far I've only mailed mostly flat fiber pieces for the FAT group.

Hmnn, hadn't thought about it -- a small box is obvious -- or may use a medicine/vitamin bottle to put the pin cushion in then wrap the bottle in bubble wrap and put in an envelope. The wrapping for shipping may be more of a challange than the making of these little items.

Marion what pleasant memories these bring back to me. I made these several years ago and before I put the pincushion part in I used a skewer and placed a hole in the centre and added a piece of half inch elastic, enough to stretch around a finger and they were the cutest finger cushions, yours are precious.

Nice of me to call you Marian. I was reading an email at the same time you were thanking Marina. Oh Jackie I need to take a break, but I am sure I am forgiven.
