This will be a 3 x 3 inch square. I'm debating taking out the bugles -- so will hold off finishing for a little while. I have begun my 3 x 3 square for July while I ponder the bugle delima. Since this is all a learning process I may just leave them and go from there. This is really a wonderful project -- thanks again, Robin, for getting it going.

It just goes to show that it does not matter how long you have been beading. Your piece is fabulous. I like the bugles, they remind me of the sun's rays.
Awww. Don't ban the bugles! They look great. Such a joyful piece!
have you abandoned the tilly's daughter website?
I can't see the picture in this one.
But I do have to say after looking through your blog, WOW. only 9 months, I would have thought you had been beading for years, your work is great.

I'd leave them in place. They look great to me!
The bugles look super and I can't wait to see the finished piece!

Your work is lovely. I particularly like the little face in the middle, and ... the bugles! I'm looking forward to seeing more.
I like the bugles, too.. :)
It's very pretty. Like little planets orbiting the sun.
I love reading the comments -- and thank you all for your suggestions and kind words.
OK, the bugles stay -- and with that decided (thank you all) tonight I can get back to work on this piece.
Looking forward to finishing June and on to completing July.
Am glad to read that the bugles will stay! I love what you ahve done! OH did you know that you and I are both in the same beading yahoo group... beaded dolls! good to see you on there! Can't wait to see what you do with July!
Thanks, Sammy -- yes, I have only been in the beaded doll groiup a short time -- I hope in the near future to participate in some of the activities. There is some really fantastic beading on that group.
I like the bugles. They add great texture. Nice work.
yay for keeping the bugles! Love your work and you've only been beading 9 months? wow. Beautiful! and prolific too!
Glad we were able to persuade you to keep the bugles in place! ;- )
Hope you can find time to play a game with me. I've tagged you for a meme on my blog: sewingmagpie.blogspot.com.
Beadin Gram, after Freebird tagged me and I answered all the questions. I decided you would be a great person to tag also. So if you choose to accept this mission the questions are on my blog,
Have fun,
