Life is Not Black and White

I am beginning to pull together beads for a piece I am really looking forward to doing. "Life is Not Black and White". Since this will be my first improvisational beading piece, I have no idea where I will begin or what direction the beads will take. But, shored up with encouragement from friends and bearing the banner of Robin Atkins "JUST DO IT" -- soon I will take the first step, attach that first bead -- and away I go. Above is a photo of the beads I have collected so far -- I know I need more -- different shapes, shades of black, white, gray, etc. but I may just go ahead and begin and see where it goes.

Yummmmmm! What a way to start on a fascinating theme! I hope you'll post in-progress pictures. If you have my book, One Bead at a Time, which it sounds like you do, maybe you'll even write a few poems inspired by your work. I think (especially with a subject like this) that poems keep the energy of your work coming from your heart where the real stuff is.

Is that overkill? I hope not... anyway, thanks for commenting on my blog... I hadn't known about yours and am delighted to be here!
