Was doing some research on the Arts & Crafts movement this morning for DH. I came across the following quote I think will be enjoyed by all my "handy" friends. The Stickley brothers and Roycroft are major names in the A & C movement in the USA. This quotation from John Ruskin formed the Roycroft "creed":

"A belief in working with the head, hand and heart and mixing enough play with the work so that every task is pleasurable and makes for health and happiness".
