Well. the new roof is on -- just a bit of trim and clean up and then that will be finished. We had a very heavy rain yesterday and all was dry. Whew -- what a relief.
Below a portion of the back of the house with tons of vents.
I also finished up the third pair (cranberry red ones) of crocheted sock/slippers. Started a tweedy blue pair too. Then it will be on to something elseBelow is a picture of how they look on. As I mentioned, they are very comfy :-

Hi Jackie,
I looked at your site ........ and just love your crocheted sock slippers. I am always cold and I can't knit but can crochet, Mom taught me at a very young age even though I haven't done much of it lately. Is there a pattern you bought to make them? ....................... Would you mind telling me where you got it? Also Mom is cold now too even with this heat, guess the air conditioning is too much for her she if 89. I think she would wear them too.
All my blessing to you.
Thanks,
Nancy
Hi Nancy,
I just sent the pattern to your email address. I hope both you and your mom will enjoy it. Remember, if you use variegated yarn it will take slightly more than one skein -- the plain yarn has enough yardage for an average size pair. If I can be of any help, let me know.
Hugz,
Jackie
