Days Before Christmas.....

Not much I can show right now -- at least until after the Christmas gifts have been received -- but I can show a fun shawl I made.

The chilly days require a little extra to keep a body warm -- so I made up (crocheted) a nice soft, warm, cozy shawl.  The top photo shows it finished -- I omitted the fringe the pattern called for -- don't like dangly stuff around my hands/wrists when I am typing, etc. This is a free pattern from Lion Brand Yarn -- if you would like the pattern, click HERE. There is also a free pattern for the knitted version.

I like this one so much I already have about 12 inches done on a second.

Amy & Arline -- thanks for dropping by -- it is always fund to stop by your blogs and I'm happy you visit here too.

BB -you can change the name of the blog but not the address -- I should have added crochetin' too -- but not enough room, LOL.

Carol -- what a great idea to take to the restaurant -- I usually freeze there -- will put one in my little tote next time. I started another one tonight in denim blues --- should go well with jeans, etc.

Hi Jackie...I haven't swung by in awhile. Your shawl looks warm and cozy! But I really love the socks you've been knitting too...they are great!!! I've always wanted to try socks but I haven't because the gusset always scares me off! Good for you to teach yourself...looks to me like you've got it down pat!

Your gifts from Maggie and Lynn are beautiful! What thoughtful friends...I'm sure they brought a smile to your face!

If I don't get back by before the holiday...Merry Christmas to you and yours!!! ~Lisa ;-)
