The bird feeders have had a frenzy of activity all afternoon. A sure sign that the weatherman is probably correct in his prediction of 3-5 inches of snow by tomorrow night. Cardinal's, Junco's, Sparrows, Finch, and the darling little Chickadee's shared the seed. Was able to capture this photo of the Chickadee's. They have such a happy song and are always a delight to see. This year we were fortunate to have them nest in the hole in an old Magnolia tree - we were about to take the tree down when we spotted their nest.
The squirrels too were busy.

Hugs to you for feeding our feathered friends. Chickadees are my favorite. I was able to get them to eat out of my hands last winter by hiding under the arbor and sticking my hand through the lattice panel side. It was magical. I love their little chick-a-dee-dee-dee song! Good luck with the snow fall - ours is all melted and without the pretty leaves on the ground, it is looking quite drab.

Snow? Do you think it will come my way? I hope not, although I love the winter wonderland look, it makes me want to curl up and stay inside and I am just starting to feel well enough to venture out.
Hope things are fantastic at your house.

Well, everyone knows I love the birds! We spend way too much time watching the birds and squirrels. This is the first year that I have had birds roosting in the houses in the winter. I fear this will be a bad one.
All your readers know - yesterday was your BIRTHDAY, right!?!
Love you lots!

No!!! I don't like snow. :/
More snow due tomorrow --- hope it isn't too much, I want to go to Chicago on Thursday.
