Another Gift

Well, needed another gift for Friday -- so tonight I made up this little doll/pin.

She too has lavender filling --- these little dolls/pins are such fun to do.

Friends Forever

Will be meeting with a dear friend tomorrow and wanted to make a little something to give to her. I only get to see her once or twice a year and I want her to have something to help keep me close in her thoughts while we are apart.

The sweet "Inner Child" dolls came to mind. This little one is, like Pat Winter's original inner child dolls, stuffed with lavender and smells wonderful. I did add a pin back to her as she is quite small and can easily be worn as a pin if my friend would like to.

Just thought I'd share her with you.

Life has been so crazy lately that today was the first time I had a chance to put Polly's little blue pool out.

What a great time she has playing in the water.

Thought you might enjoy a couple photos of her. Munchkin, the Pug, stays as far from water as she can LOL.

Idle Time Doll #3

Here is the third "Idle Time" doll I finished 

while DH was in the hospital.

Had to put these together with the small box 

of beads I had with me.

They are simple, fun, and keep mind and hands busy.

Another "Idle Time" Doll

Here's another little doll I did while spending time with DH at the hospital. He does a lot of sleeping, so I have beading time.  I am so grateful for beading -- it has made the idle stressful hours fly by.  This isn't a very good photo, but will have to do for now. Thanks to Pat Winter for the darling faces :-)  

I have one more "Idle Time" doll finished and will try to get a photo soon.  And I was able to complete my September piece for the Bead Journal Project for 2008.  I can't show it yet -- but I had such a peaceful time beading "her" -- and look forward to the BJP 2008.

Idle Time Doll

Sitting with DH watching the Cubs beat St. Louis and put together this little doll.  She has lavender inside but also batting -- I love lavender and use it when I can.
