A bit of beading.....

Didn't get much beading done
last night --- but it's a start.

Hope to do more tonight.

How interesting! I start beading in one place and move until the doll is finished. I never thought about putting in the design pieces first. Thanks for sharing this.

Jeanne, As I'm sure you know, it depends on what background stitch(es) you are going to use if you can put in the design fist. I hope this will work with this little doll -- have a few more of the lovely nail head beads to put on the front -- then will do the background and cross my fingers it will work.

This is the sweetest little doll; is that a Maggie face?!!How did you make the little white body? She's gonna be beautiful..
thanks for sharing.....

Thanks -- the face is from Graphiix Outpost- I love her faces.

The body I just free hand sketched, cut in two identical pieces and hand stitched together --- when you use felt for the body it is very forgiving and I love working with it.

She's looking good Jackie. I like the bead pattern you have so far.
Can't wait to see her finished...will she be completely beaded?

I love the shape of this doll and that face is gorgeous! Hope it is not too long until you are back beading (you must be going through withdrawalm symptoms).
