Friendship Doll ~ In Progress

While awaiting more beads to work on my Black & White -- am doing a 'Spirit of Friendship' crazy quilt doll for an exchange. She is pictured here in her very 'undone' state -- the outline is just a guide -- she will be smaller than the outline suggests. There is also a photo of a close up of her face -- the beads are actually almost the same color as the background material but sure don't look it in the photo. Anyway, it is fun to work on these little dolls and always special when they are done for an exchange.

Thank you Sammy -- I really love your beading -- you are very, very, talented. You asked about the beaded fobs on my scissors --Be my guest, Sammy -- I'm honored that you want to use some of my ideas. And yes, it really does help to identify your scissors, etc. in classes -- I also have a small beaded dangly on my camera because I have found there are more than one just like mine that we take to classes, grandkids programs at school, etc. Another fun place for beaded danglies are cell phones --- and that really helps, DD and I have identical phones and on more than one occasion I have picked up hers instead of mine. Now we both have our own 'identifying' beadies on the phones, Have fun and bead away.

Hi there

I found you through my friend Sammy's blog. And am so impressed with your bead art.

Looking forward to seeing the friendship doll progress. I love the colors you have chosen.

Took a peek at some of your recent post and was very taken with the tiny beaded quilt pieces.

And the pins you make are fabulous. Little Miss Sunshine is so beautiful!!

I like your profile photo of you holding the puppy too.

Kind regards
